Sad science-fiction news to pass on to you. Ray Bradbury - author of the Martian Chronicles and Fahrenheit 451, among other classic science-fiction stories - died last night in Los Angeles. Ray Bradbury wrote dozens of books, short stories and more in the area of science fiction and fantasy.
