Yum...I'm Hungry. It's Breakfast (Lunch or Dinner) Time...

Hi All,

A guy's got to eat. And a girl's got to eat. And what better way to find a restaurant on Long Island with your smartphone than to use Eat Out! Long Island?

Indeed, at the top of the page there is a dialog box where users can type in the name of a restaurant.  There is also an Advanced Search for users.  Advanced Search enables users to search by the following criteria:
Restaurant Name
Cuisine
Address
City
County
Zip Code
Phone Number
 
In addition, users can check a specific box to find a location that offers that feature (like whether or not the restaurant has a website, online menu availability, if reservations are accepted, if take-out is available, if there is catering, are credit cards accepted and much, much more) 

In addition, users can Rate a particular restaurant when they view the restaurant information.  Click on this example from Ciao Baby on Sunrise Highway in Massapequa Park.   Ratings go from 1-10 - with a rating of 10 being the best. Rankings include a section titled, 'Would you return?' and there is a date that the review was created.

Hi All,

The last minute rush is getting here. Get ready, get set...go.  There is officially less than a week to go before Christmas Day 2013.  And it is probably getting a bit hectic in your life right about now.

So this is the perfect time to offer up a quick and easy blog entry about 'Saving Your Sanity During the Holidays'. As a matter of fact, that is the title of the first link I'm going to share with you this morning.  Click on this link to connect to the article. This next link comes from a law firm - no, I am not advertising for the firm. The article talks about shopping mall safety, credit card safety and long check out lines.

The holiday season brings with it its own set of stresses and strains. Families get together and there is a limited amount of time to get a lot accomplished (shopping, wrapping presents, buying presents, cleaning the house, coordinating plans with family members, possible flights in airplanes and possible pickups at airports...and more.)

Hence the appropriate topic of this last article - which comes from the Mayo Clinic website.  Entitled, 'Stress, Depression and the Holidays: Tips For Coping', the article is timely, well-written, and unbiased.  It also gives a lot of information to the reader on how to de-stress from the holidays.

Hoagie, Subway sandwhiches, Heroes and...

Hoagie's, subway sandwiches, heroes, belly busters, grinders, foot-longs...

You know them as 'sandwiches' and are great for lunch with a soda and some chips.  Great stuff - and easy to eat and they are pretty darn inexpensive.   And they are a great meal for the warm summer months....so get in line and get ready to order!
