Hi All,Just found a neat section on the Farmingdale Patch website. The section is called 'Who's Hiring' and contains a list of local businesses that are hiring. Jobs are located in Farmingdale, Amityille, Massapequa and in other local towns.
Which brings me to a job resource that we have at the Farmingdale PL.
On Wednesday nights we have a career counselor from 5pm-9pm. The sessions are by appointment only and are one hour in length.
Our career counselor is professionally trained and can give advice on resumes, coverletters, career changing, career advice, interviewing techniques.
If you are looking for a new job or if you are considering changing jobs, our career counselor is the person you want to speak to. She is absolutely fantastic at helping career changers and movers finding new positions! Best thing about our service? It's free!!!!
