One World Trade Center To Become Tallest...

Hi All,

Click on this link from Newsday to see some very interesting photos of One World Trade Center being built - right now.   As a matter of fact, as of today, One World Trade Center is the tallest building in New York City.  And eventually - in about a year or so, One World Trade Center will become the tallest building in the United States.

Bollinger's Reopens This Weekend

Bollinger's - the restaurant on Main Street in Farmingdale that closed 2 months ago - reopens this weekend.  The restaurant has the same name, but there is a new co-owner, menu changes, and new, fresh, friendly, faces waiting tables and serving ice cream in the restaurant.  Don't miss the reopening!  Click on this link for the Farmingdale Patch article discussing the reopening of the restaurant.

Biology Rocks!

Hi All,

Check this article I found from Farmingdale Patch.  Article is entitled, 'Bioscience Center Expanding at College' - the college being Farmingdale State College.  Cool beans and cool stuff. OSI Pharmaceuticals is the anchor tenant of the Broad Hollow Bioscience Park at Farmingdale State College - which happens to be located in....Farmingdale!

So, biology might be a tough class to take in high school and college, but it just might help you land a good paying, satisfying job after college.  Click on this link from the Occupational Outlook Handbook to learn more about becoming a biologist or a biochemist or biophysicist.  And from a website called, 'Simply Hired', you can find salaries for the various subspecialties in the field of biology.  Neat stuff - and a good living to boot.
